A Special Visit!

A special thank you to Micky’s grandfather, Mr. W. for coming in to share some information about astronauts. He worked on the space suit for Hamilton Standard (United Technology) and was able to bring to our classroom a model replica of an astronaut’s suit. The students saw a video and learned about how the space suit allows the astronaut to sustain life in outer space. What a great presentation!

Field Trip

If you have not yet returned the permission slip and $4.00 for the field trip to the Peabody Museum on March 26, 2010, please do so as soon as possible.

Reader’s Theater

This Friday, we will have our Reader’s Theater performance in the classroom at 2:50. All parents are welcome to attend. Students are very excited to perform four snippets of the following plays:

• Little Red Riding Hood, Arthur’s Bad Day, The Three Little Pigs, and Pinocchio.

Things to send in…

Please remember to send in a baby/toddler picture of your child.

On the pink heart that was sent home, using a black marker, include a memorable moment of your child. It will be part of our bulletin board entitled, “Wouldn’t you love to know who these sweethearts are?”
