About Mrs. DeNuzzo

I am Mrs. Alicia DeNuzzo and am entering my sixth year of teaching. Before coming to Ryerson Elementary, I taught both third grade and kindergarten with the New Haven Public School system. I am currently working on my Master’s Degree in Reading and have a number of reading strategies that I look forward to sharing with you and your child.

Throughout the year I will continually praise students for a job well done. Promoting positive attitudes, behavior, and academic success are goals we will continue to develop daily. I believe that each child has the potential to be successful. A balanced curriculum, parental involvement, and the use of data to inform instruction will begin to prepare students to be life-long learners. It takes a community of cooperating individuals to prepare students to function effectively and efficiently in society and is the cornerstone of my philosophy.
