My First Blog Post May 6, 2009

Posted by waterhousea in : Uncategorized , trackback

I am going to college for computer technology. I am very interested in all sorts of technology that’s why I decided to make a blog all about the newest up to date technology.

The fist gadget I want to share with you is the 52 Inch Virtual Reality Wide Screen Personal Movie Theater. Imagine being able to watch a movie on the big screen from the comfort of practically anywhere! All you need to connect your 52 inch television is a video iPod, a portable DVD player or a personal video game system.

It uses dual stereo headphones and two high resolution LCD’s that promise an extremely high resolution. The 28 degree field of view allows you to get the full picture in both regular and wide screen editions, plus the 24-bit true color produces the purest, brightest color quality you’ve seen.

Check out Lifehacker and holycool. They both have some fun gadgets on their blogs too! This site looks great!

Hey Alicia,

Great site. You may want to call some of the companies and tell them about your blog. Maybe, you can get them to send you a loaner of their products and you can review them on your site. Fun project for you, free advertising for them.

Sounds like a great product. What would you recommend for new technology for reading text? I am tempted by Kindle but I don’t know a lot about what is out there. May be you do?

Mike

It sells for around $250 on the internet.
Thanks for the comment!

Mrs. Schneider

I think the Amazon Kindle is the best gadget for reading text. One thing I really like about it is not only can you read books but you can look at blogs and you can read entire newspapers as well.

There is something called the Sony Reader. This is a little less expensive then the Kindle. It is the same basic idea. Unlike the Kindle, the Sony Reader allows you to store mp3 files and Microsoft Word documents.

Here is a link a very interesting video I found that compares both the Amazon Kindle and the Sony Reader.

The Apple iPod Touch and the iPhone also allow you to download applications for reading full text.

I hope this helps!
Thanks!
